On June 30th and July 1st Rivers Edge held its annual two-day Member\/Member Championship. Despite the restriction, as a result of Covid 19, our resilient Members and Staff were bound to find a way to keep our major events intact and moving forward while complying with mandates. Throughout the event the only real significant changes made were the inability to have a formal awards ceremony with dinner, as the event is accustomed to. As for the competition itself and the spectacular course conditions, our members would not be denied a fantastic major!<\/p>\n

With the cancelation of a formal dinner our Double Eagle Grille still managed to find a way to compliment the event through some tasty food, served via boxed lunches during play.\u00a0Picnic Food was the theme: Kim’s Famous Fried chicken, Potato Salad, Broccoli Salad and Cobbler with ice cream.<\/p>\n

Women’s Division= Shirley Arnold\/Sandy Campbell with a net score of 139<\/p>\n
